Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Trim the ends, remove discolored leaves, and slice the sprouts in half.
  • In a bowl, whisk olive oil, Dijon mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar (if using). Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toss the Brussels sprouts in the glaze until fully coated.
  • Spread in a single layer, cut-side down, for even roasting.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway, until tender with crispy, caramelized edges.
  • Transfer to a dish and enjoy warm. Optionally, drizzle with remaining glaze.

Notes

Even Coating: Toss the sprouts thoroughly in the glaze to ensure even caramelization.
Single Layer: Spread the sprouts in a single layer to allow for proper browning (both in the oven and air fryer).
Flip or Toss Midway: Stir or shake the sprouts halfway through cooking to prevent burning and promote even browning.
Optional Glaze Boost: For extra flavor, reserve a small portion of the glaze and toss the cooked sprouts in it before serving.
